They are a number of decisions that we make every day to make sure that we have the smallest carbon footprint possible on our environment. It took us a while to find our pacakaging suppliers as we did not want to make any compromise. And finally after few months of efforts we found them:) So now we are proud to be able to say that we are sustainable and eco-friendly and also that our consumers are feelling good about choosing our products!
boxes
They are made from 100 % post-consumer recycled paper to reduce the amount of tree plantation needed. We use vegetable-based inks in order to reduce the amount of harmful solvents used and water-based glue. They are therefore 100 % biodegradable, recyclable and compostable.
Bottles
They are made of glass and bamboo lid, meaning that they can be recycled or reused. We were unable to get rid of the small plastic plug used to seal the bottle as this feature prevents leakages and better preserves the product.
Tins
they are light, sturdy and airtight, making them ideal for lip balm. We choose aluminium as it can be indefinitely recyclable...you can also reuse it!
labels
They are made in Australia with 100% post - consumer recycled paper and printed using vegetable-based ink + water - based glue. They can be removed by soaking in water and added to your compostable waste. 100% recyclable and biodegradable.
shipping packaging
Mailer boxes are made here in Australia from recycled cardboard and shipped plastic free so that our packaging materials can be recycled or composted at home. We also use bio-fill and water active paper tape.
And….Our shipping partners are 100% carbon neutral!
