WHERE YOUR PRODUCTS ARE MADE? 

All our products are made in Western Australia, by us! In small batches every day to provide you the best quality. 

 

IS THERE IS ANY CHEMICALS OR NASTIES INGREDIENTS IN YOUR PRODUCTS?

No! None of them. We are absolutely 100% chemical free. All our products are made with certified organic ingredients and we do not add any preservatives or fragrances.

 

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF TATA MYIA PRODUCTS?

As all of our products are waterless, the shelf life is two years from manufacturing. It is still important that you store them at room temperature and avoid direct sunlight for a better conservation. 

 

WHY TATA MYIA PRODUCTS ARE WATERLESS?

Many skincare products list water as the first ingredient on the list. This means it makes up about 80% of the beauty product. So, there is not much percentage of the other active ingredients. The skin naturally repels water and the active ingredients in water-based beauty products do not penetrate the deeper layers of the skin properly. Also, when using water, preservatives are added to prevent bacterial growth and those can irritate the skin. 

We decided to create a range of products with pure, highly concentrated and organic ingredients that work and protect the skin. 

 

HAVE YOU LISTED ALL INGREDIENTS ON YOUR PRODUCTS?

Yes, you can find the list INCI on each product’s page and if you want more information, you can also find the complete list on the page our ingredients.

 

CAN YOUR SOAPS BE USED ON THE FACE?

Yes! Absolutely they can. All our soaps are “superfatted”, that’s mean there is extra vegetable oil added during the process of saponification. Making them more moisturising and gentle for the face's skin.

 

HOW DO I STORE THE SOAP?

To prevent our soap from melting prematurely, we advise you to keep it on a soap dish away from humidity, so that it can dry between two uses. This means getting it out of the shower if necessary. Because they are made using cold process saponification, it melts quicker than a soap with chemical ingredients. 

 

WHY YOUR SHAMPOO HAS A STRONG SMELL OF CACAO?

Our shampoo bar is made with raw and unrefined ingredients and does not contains any essential oil. This mean, the smell is from the natural cocoa butter and olive oil that we use. It is a choice that we make to make sure that only the good stuff is in it and all the properties of ingredients are preserved. Don’t worry, the smell does not stay on your hair. 

 

DO YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN PALM OIL? 

We do not use palm oil in any of our products. 

 

ARE TATA MYIA PRODUCTS SUITABLE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN?

Yes, most of our product are essential oil free and can be used by the most sensitive of skin. We also formulated a soothing face oil which is ideal for dry and/or sensitive skin.

 

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN?

Yes, all our products are vegan except the lip’s balms. They are made using organic beeswax that is sourced in Australia. 

 

IS YOUR PACKAGING ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AND RECYCLABLE? 

We are very passionate about global sustainability and seek to use packaging that has minimal impact on our earth, with no compromise :)

Our boxes and labels are made from 100% recycled post-consumer cardboard and paper, therefore they are recyclable and compostable.

Our glass bottles and aluminium tin can be recycled and reusable.

ARE ORDERS SHIPPED SUSTAINABLY?

Yes! Our packaging, shipping boxes and padding do not contain any plastic. This means that they can be recycled. We also use water activated paper tape , recycled cardboard and bio-fill to ship our products

Also, our shipping partners are carbon neutral!

 

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

We ship all over the world. Please check our shipping page for details and associated costs.

 

CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER ONCE I'VE PLACED IT?

Yes you can. If you change your mind simply email us as soon as possible at hello@tatamyia.com.au with your order details and we will try to help. As our shipping is is designed to be quick, unfortunately once the order has been shipped, it's yours. However, please check our returns and refunds policy here.
